Scrap Happy Cabins
Let’s build some colorful, exciting and unique log cabins! This is a no rules approach to putting those scraps to work... Bring a bag of scrap strips left over from your projects and start making blocks that will one day make you a warm and wonderful quilt to sleep under or hang on the wall to decorate your life! This is a fun day of sewing - you will continue sewing at home until you have made enough blocks to create the size quilt you desire. Trading strips with other students is optional, always ask permission!!

Please bring:
Sewing machine
thread
scraps: I don’t recommend strips wider than 2” or
smaller than 1” - be any length will do - they
will go where they fit...
cutting mat and rotary cutter
6 1/2” ruler for squaring the blocks (I will
provide one in class, but you will be happy if you you have your own.
